Thalassa is a concept designed in collaboration Angelina Panagiotopoulou for Armiriki Stories. A limited edition of high quality, screen printed t-shirts, expressing Greece from a personal - biographical point of view.
Thalassa means Sea in greek. It surrounds Greece and through time it has formed its geography, its climate, its economy. People’s temperament and daily life are deeply connected with it.
Considering the beaufort scale, the sea can be compared to things such as oil or even little sheep, used metaphorically to describe the condition of the sea, depending on the wind. The series focuses on four different states of the sea: Oil / Little Sheep / White Horses / Bloated
